Description:
1:12 scale, LED lit Book Nook building workshop. This class will teach the techniques to build an enchanted endless forest book nook focusing on terrain building, and perspective play using mirrors. We will use moss, mirrors, wood, acrylic paint, mixed foraged materials, handmade clay roses and led battery operated fairy lights.

Exterior finished dimensions measure to 4.5” W X 9.5” H X8” D. I will provide extra surprise pieces and two sets of LED lights for each nook.

Students should have a glue gun and glue sticks, paint brushes, Tacky glue, Dremel preferred by not required, students are welcome to use their own mixed pieces to add into the nook. I urge students to find sticks from their area to tie into the inside of the nook.

Provided materials: Book Nook Kit, Mirror paper, shared paint, bag of moss, bag of mixed grit sand, handmade surprise pieces for finishing touches (four handmade clay roses), wood sticks for walkway, found sticks, dried flowers, static grass, small wood pieces, two sets of LED lights

Approximate Course Duration (hours): 4-5

Minimum Age Requirement: 16
