The Art of Baking (polymer clay) Cake 
 
Description:
 
Do you love sweets and crafting ? Why not combine both in this fun and creative workshop where you’ll learn how to make your very own miniature cakes?
 
Whether you’re a total beginner or someone who loves exploring new crafts, this workshop will provide you with the skills to create beautiful and edible-looking miniature cakes that are perfect for developing a new creative outlet , displaying, gifting , selling or for making miniature photography props. 
 
This workshop is going to be designed for total beginners as well as any creative souls who likes to work with their hands and interested in learning a new fun skill!
 
It’s a pretty chill class that will allow you to get away from the daily grind for a while and also to connect with other creatives ! The workshop will also teach you stuff that you can apply to other miniature projects !
 
Children under the age 12 must be accompanied by adults. 
 
SCALE AND DIMENSION:

SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES: 
 
In this workshop, you will:
 
– learn the basic tools for polymer clay sculpting 
– learn techniques on how to condition clay, create cake basic shape and textures, mix colors, create frosting/icing and other fun cake details
-sculpt and design your own cake using the sample cakes as inspiration
-bake pieces and apply finishing touches 
 
STUDENT SUPPLIES AND TOOLS PROVIDED:
 
Various colors of polymer clay, liquid clay, glaze, cutting mat and other materials such as craft oven and pasta machine will be available on site for sharing. 
 
A Clay tool kit that consists of acrylic clay roller, acrylic sheet, craft knife, needle tool, dotting tool, clay cutter blade will be provided for you to use and to take home after.

Workshop Title: Temple Ruins Diorama 

Description: Do you want to learn how to create stone walls and learn the basics of building diorama sets with foam? (Or as Paulo like’s to call it , “Foam Masonry”)

Then join Paulo , Las Vegas Toy Con 2024 Diorama Building Competition Champion and the founder of Konexxus, in his Temple Ruins Diorama Workshop! 

Whether you’re just starting out or you’re a creative soul who loves to try new stuff, this workshop will provide you with the skills to create basic diorama sets that are perfect  for building terrain for table top gaming, making toy & miniature photography sets, developing a new creative outlet , displaying your collection, gifting , or for starting a crafting business !

Learning how to manipulate foam will give you an indispensable tool in your miniature building tool kit and will definitely expand the possibilities around the stuff that you can create ! The concepts and techniques that you’ll learn will definitely be transferable and applicable to your other miniature projects !

Lastly, the class will allow you unplug from the daily grind for a bit and also connect you with other like minded creatives!

– learn about the basic tools used in diorama building 

– learn techniques on how to make a diorama set with foam such as conceptualizing, line work, texturing, weathering, painting, flocking, and more!

– Create your very own temple ruins diorama! 

STUDENT SUPPLIES AND TOOLS PROVIDED:

Each student will receive everything that they are going to need to complete the build.

A diorama building tool kit that consists with a hot knife set, square , precision knife, brush set and pink foam will be provided for you to use and to take home after.

Other materials such as paint , moss, mod podge , cutting boards & glue will also be available on site for sharing.
