IMoMA

What is IMoMA?

We are a marketplace for miniature artisans worldwide. Currently, we are the only west coast wholesale show for buyers and vendors. Based on popular demand, we have added a retail portion to our show. Our ultimate goal is to create a Minicon where miniature artists, bloggers, minfluencers, and enthusiasts alike can meet, socialize, learn, and purchase the finest miniatures annually.
Many upcoming miniature artisans are honing their craft on various scales. Most miniature shows are only inclusive to 1:12, 1:24, or 1:144 scale miniatures. At IMoMA, we desire to represent a broader spectrum of scales and types of miniature art forms to not limit the phenomenal artists who work outside of the standard scales. We like to consider ourselves all-inclusive of any mini-scale art form, and that includes but is not limited to kawaii, dollhouse, clayart, volks dolls, bjd, terrain building, polymer clay, Sylvanian families, Nendoroid, dolls, Blythe, Barbie, model trains, ob11, StopMotionAnimation, muichan CalicoCritter, amigurumi, miniature photography, mini brands, action figures, diecast, rement, anime, wargaming, and so much more!

Cindy Gonzales: Founder/President

I ran my own business for 35 years outside of the miniature world. I started making miniatures 34 years ago as a hobby. Then Cindi’s Minis evolved with many shows leading to my position on the board of a non-profit organization that promoted miniatures for more than 15 years. I understand the marketing of our special art and know the hard work it takes to put on a show. I hated to lose our west coast show so I decided to step up to the occasion and keep a show going in Las Vegas.

Lisa Hicks: Partner/Director of Marketing & Sales

I currently own and operate my e-commerce site called A WeeBitTeeny Modern Mini’s, which began for me as an 8 year old girls dream. I grew up living next door to a Miniature store called Barbara’s Miniatures In Bakersfield CA.

After 7 years in college and leading a very successful career in real estate for over 18 years, my decision to move on from my corporate days, and start building a mini business began in September 2011.

After five years of traveling the miniature show circuit, and doing research till my eyes were burning, A WeeBitTeeny was finally formed in September 2016.

I’m a married mother to three wonderful grown children and although I admire the history of the miniature industry, its superb quality and craftsmanship, and its contribution to my childhood, I desire to see it modernize and survive for many generations to come. This is why I have teamed up with IMoMA to help create the first international miniature convention that will focus on ALL things miniature and bring a community of not just dollhouse fanatics together, but the entire world of Miniatures.
